BOOKING PROCESS

15. Is my booking confirmed as soon as I submit the form?

No. Submitting the form is a request.

A booking is confirmed only when:

        1.      We have confirmed availability and sent you your booking summary and payment link, and

        2.      You have completed the payment and agreed to the card-on-file / hold authorization.

16. How far in advance should I book?

As early as possible, especially for holidays and peak dates.

We will always do our best to accommodate last-minute requests, but availability cannot be guaranteed.

Yes, if availability allows. Last-minute requests are handled case by case. We recommend contacting us as soon as you know your plans.

PAYMENTS & CARD ON FILE

18. How do I pay?

All payments are made through a secure online payment link sent in your confirmation email. We accept major credit and debit cards.

19. Why do you need my card on file?

We keep a card on file to:

     •           Secure your booking

     •           Place a temporary hold for the estimated total

     •           Charge any approved changes, like extra hours or an added child during the booking

This allows us to manage your booking smoothly and apply any approved changes in a single, secure transaction.

20. What is a hold / pre-authorization?

A hold (or pre-authorization) is a temporary reservation of funds on your card for the estimated amount of your booking.

It is not a double charge. Once the service is completed, we finalize the payment with the actual total.

21. When is my card charged?

     •           A hold may be placed when you confirm your booking.

     •           After the service, the final amount (including any approved extra hours or changes) is charged to your card, and the hold is adjusted or released.

22. Can I pay in cash or directly to the sitter?

No. All payments are handled through the agency. This keeps records clear and protects both families and our team.

If you’d like to leave a tip for your care specialist, you’re welcome to give it in cash or ask us to add it to your card payment.

CHANGES, EXTENSIONS & CANCELLATIONS

23. Can I change the time or date of my booking?

Yes, as long as we have availability.

Please contact us as early as possible if you need to adjust times, dates, or number of children. Changes may affect the total cost.
